Giorgio Lago Junior Award: How to participate and why to do it

We are honored to be sponsors again this year of the Giorgio Lago Juniores Award 2025, a competition inspired by the great Treviso journalist who passed away twenty years ago. Aimed at students in the last year of the High Schools of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, the award represents not only a recognition for young talents, but also an invitation to reflect on issues of great social importance, just as Giorgio Lago hoped.  

The theme of this edition, "To be or appear: the distortions of the image society", invites participants to confront the influence of the world of social media. The works, which must not exceed 3000 characters, must be sent by February 28, 2025 to the address info@premiogiorgiolago.it. The jury is made up of some of the most prestigious names in Italian journalism, united in the task of awarding the best articles with scholarships of 1000, 750 and 500 euros for the first three classified.
